I help the people feeding the world build businesses that can actually sustain them.

I’m a content strategist, copywriter, and marketing partner for mission-driven food, beverage, and agriculture brands.

After more than a decade working in food marketing and communications, I started my business because I saw the same pattern over and over again:

The people growing incredible products, farmers, makers, and founders, were often the ones struggling the most to market them.

Not because the products weren’t good.

But because the system makes it harder than it should be to build a sustainable food or farm business.

So I built a business focused on changing that.

Today, I help founders replace marketing overwhelm and uncertainty with clear strategy, consistent content, and systems that support real growth…without burning out in the process.

Because good marketing isn’t about hype or manipulation.

It’s about helping the right people find the products they already want and believe in.

The stories behind good food deserve to be told well.

Early in my career, a coach helped me realize something that had always been true about me.

My purpose is to shine a spotlight on the stories that need to be told.

When I was a kid, I knew that early on: I wrote in my first-grade journal that I wanted to be a writer when I grew up.

I started out as a journalist, and as that industry changed, I saw I could use my skills in a new way. As a seventh-generation Vermonter from an agricultural family, I wanted to support the food system.

To help people understand the stories behind where their food comes from, what makes it different, why it matters, and why the people behind it care so deeply.

The businesses I work with are rooted in transparency, sustainability, and an honest way of producing food.

When their stories are told clearly, customers connect with them faster and more deeply.

And that connection is what turns someone from a casual buyer into a loyal customer.

I also have a small farm

In 2023, we planted 300 lavender plants and 200 Christmas trees on our three acres in Waterbury, Vermont.

One month later, a 100-year flood covered the land with more than four feet of water.

So I replanted on higher ground and added flowers and trees that are better suited to the climate we’re living in now. The farm is named Forward Always Farmstead after that experience, and we sell cut flowers at our farmstand.

That experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the resilience it takes to farm today.

After the flooding, I also had the opportunity to write stories about farmers across Vermont who were rebuilding after the devastation. Hearing their experiences firsthand only strengthened my belief that the people producing our food deserve far more support than they often receive.

The people working in food and agriculture are some of the most resilient people on the planet.

My goal is to help make sure their stories, and their products, reach the people who need them.

If you're building a food or farm brand and want marketing that actually supports your growth

I’d love to learn about what you’re working on.

Let’s start with a conversation.

The vibe I bring to this work

  • My husband and I have two kiddos and are raising them alongside six chickens, 30+ fruit trees, 200 Christmas trees, and lots of gardens and flowers.

  • I come from a long line of Vermont dairy farmers. My brother is the 5th generation to own and operate a dairy farm.

  • I have an apocalyptic obsession with canning food. Every year I can about 100 quarts of food, from tomato sauce and jam to applesauce.

  • I learned to play the guitar during the pandemic. I’m a campfire strummer.

  • I write poetry, too. It’s my life goal to have a published poem. Read my poems here.

  • I believe in God. Connectedness is my number one Gallup Strength.

  • I love to play outside. Whether snowboarding, gardening, or walking alongside the river in our backyard, outside is where I center myself.
